The Trivium of Trading
This website focuses on three methods; (1) Point-and-Figure (2) Vertical Charts and (3) Wave Charts. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned trader, I welcome and encourage you to explore my content.
Point-and-Figure charts provide price objectives, 45-degree trend lines and help show price fluctuations to any degree. An X column shows price moving upwards. A O column shows price moving downwards.
The problem isn’t that we don’t have enough information, its that we have too much of it!
Vertical charts strip the noise of trading sessions, helping to highlight three critical parts
1) The high
2) The low
and most importantly:
3) The close
Wave-charts show the up and down-waves of price. They help visualise volume-imbalances in an easy, simple manner that can be grasped with ease. It’s order-flow made simple !
My No.1 Tip for beginners
- Tip: Don’t trade with real money until you’ve traded successfully on PAPER first !
- Logic: Would sit an exam without practicing mock-exams ? Why is trading any different ?
Tools for Success
An investment in knowledge pays the best interestBenjamin Franklin
Knowing how to use the right tools is more important than knowing of them.
Think of trading as an apprenticeship. First you need to learn the tricks of the trade. It might take anywhere between 1-5 years. Be patient, don’t be fooled by the ‘rush’ of the market. Once you’ve mastered the basics, the money will pour in!
